Kim Dong-yeon Strengthens Communication with Provincial Council... Meeting with Safety and Administration Committee at Dodamso on 26th

Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon is taking a commemorative photo after holding a communication meeting with members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Safety and Administration Committee at Dodamso, the former Gyeonggi Governor's official residence, on the 26th.

Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon continued his communication and cooperation efforts by meeting with members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council’s Safety and Administration Committee.

On the 26th, Governor Kim held a meeting with 13 members of the Safety and Administration Committee of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council at Dodamso in Paldal-gu, Suwon City (the former Gyeonggi Governor’s official residence).

Governor Kim stated, "Since Gyeonggi Province prioritizes the safety of its residents, the role of the Safety and Administration Committee members is very important," and promised, "I will have good conversations and frank discussions not only for Gyeonggi Province but also for the growth of the Republic of Korea, including the Special Self-Governing Province of Northern Gyeonggi."

He also mentioned his meeting earlier that day with Ron DeSantis, Governor of Florida, USA, explaining, "The governor asked about various issues such as Gyeonggi Province, North Korea, and China, and we had a good discussion about economic cooperation."

Ahn Gye-il, Chairperson of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council’s Safety and Administration Committee, responded, "I hope today’s gathering serves as an opportunity for communication between the council and Governor Kim Dong-yeon and becomes a shortcut to the happiness of the residents," adding, "I hope this becomes a moment of jultakdongsi, where the mother hen pecks from outside and the chick pecks from inside to help each other for the chick’s birth."

To facilitate communication with the council’s standing committees, Governor Kim held his second meeting with the Safety and Administration Committee following the Planning and Finance Committee on the 14th of last month. Since the beginning of this year, he has also met with the Gyeonggi Provincial Council’s Speaker and Standing Committee Chairpersons on January 3rd, and with council members during provincial government questioning on March 13th at Dodamso.
