Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City is attracting attention by creating a multi-purpose facility for young prospective entrepreneurs.
According to Buk-gu on the 26th, the opening ceremony of the 'Local Creator Lounge,' established for youth entrepreneurship education and support, will be held at the Happiness Harmony Center on the 27th, and full-scale operations will begin.
The Local Creator Lounge is a space for education and communication for young prospective entrepreneurs in the food service sector, remodeled from the Happiness Gallery on the first floor of the Happiness Harmony Center, covering an area of 160㎡.
The interior of the lounge consists of a practical space for developing food service menus such as coffee, desserts, and bakery items, as well as a caf?-style community space.
Accordingly, Buk-gu plans to support the stable growth of young prospective entrepreneurs by operating various food service startup programs in the lounge, including the Local Creator Academy, Festa, and practical coaching for youth startups.
In addition, programs that allow young people to communicate and interact through cooking will be developed and operated to vitalize the lounge.
Moon In, the head of Buk-gu Office, said, “We expect the Local Creator Lounge to contribute to nurturing the entrepreneurial dreams of local youth,” and added, “We will continue to discover and promote various support policies for the successful startups of young people.”
