'Pinkfong' and 'Baby Shark' Appear at Seoul Gwanghwamun Square

KT-Seoul City Children's Day Event at Gwanghwamun Square
Various Events Including Character Parade Announced
'Pinkfong' and 'Baby Shark' Character Dance Performances Also Scheduled

The globally beloved 'Pinkfong' and 'Baby Shark' are coming to Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.

On the 26th, KT announced, "As the main sponsor of the 'Gwanghwamun Children's Festival Spring Light Picnic' event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government at Yukjo Madang in Gwanghwamun Square, we will operate an experiential program featuring various popular characters from the 'Genie TV Kidsland' content for three days from May 4th to 6th."


Among the diverse offline events, the 'Kidsland Character Parade' stands out. It will take place on Children's Day starting at 2 PM. Children can freely decorate themselves like characters from the Kidsland content and participate directly in the parade. KT is accepting pre-registrations through the KT.com event page for children aged 5 to 13 (born between 2018 and 2010). After a lottery, 100 families will be selected.


In addition, there will be △ dance performances featuring character mascots of Pinkfong, Baby Shark, Bebepin, and Doremi Friends △ Genie TV original worksheet activities guided by Dr. Eun-young Oh △ a treasure hunt called 'Pororo Animal Expedition' to find hidden animal capsules in the square △ a special screening and drawing session of , exclusively presented in Kidsland based on a partnership with The Pinkfong Company. Anyone can participate. A photo zone displaying large character sculptures such as Pinkfong, Robocar Poli, Doremi Friends, and Titicherry will be set up, and on-site events will offer various prizes on a first-come, first-served basis for those who post 인증샷 (certification shots) on SNS.
