San-eun Capital announced on the 26th that it held a general shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting and appointed Vice President Yang Gi-ho as the CEO and President.

Born in 1964, the new CEO Yang joined the Korea Development Bank in 1990 and held key positions such as Head of the Issuance Market Office, Head of Corporate Finance Division 3, and Head of the Human Resources Department.

In 2018, he served as the Head of the Innovation Growth Finance Headquarters, leading the Korea Development Bank's innovation growth support policies. Since his appointment as Vice President in 2019, he consecutively served as Head of Risk Management Division and Head of Capital Markets Division, achieving significant accomplishments such as building the next-generation IT system and operating the capital market stabilization program during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to internal evaluations at the bank.

After joining San-eun Capital as Vice President in February last year, he oversaw overall operations including sales, planning, and risk management based on his 32 years of banking experience, driving growth focused on corporate loans and investment business despite the challenging domestic and international management environment caused by rapid interest rate hikes.

San-eun stated, "CEO Yang possesses strong drive and leadership that clearly presents and leads goals and directions, and he is a manager who consistently emphasizes thorough professionalism in work to employees. He also demonstrates leadership that values communication and mutual trust within the organization."
