Hyundai Engineering Supplies Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure to Hyundai Department Store

Rapid Chargers 50 Units and Slow Chargers 407 Units Supplied to Headquarters and 23 Branches Nationwide

Hyundai Engineering will establish electric vehicle charging infrastructure at Hyundai Department Stores nationwide.

On the 26th, Hyundai Engineering announced that it has signed a business agreement to supply 457 electric vehicle chargers (50 fast chargers, 407 slow chargers) to the Hyundai Department Store headquarters and 23 branches nationwide.

Through this agreement, Hyundai Engineering will build electric vehicle charging infrastructure in commercial facilities for the first time.

Hyundai Engineering plans to implement safety response solutions tailored to the characteristics of commercial facilities, including fire prevention supplies, thermal imaging cameras, and integrated control monitoring systems to respond to fires and other emergencies.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Engineering is accelerating its new business by continuously signing memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with various organizations such as local governments and companies to establish electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country.

Starting this year, it plans to expand supply to government agencies and across residential, office, commercial, factory facilities, and parking lots, covering all living facilities.

A Hyundai Engineering official said, “We are accelerating efforts to expand the supply of electric vehicle charging infrastructure nationwide,” adding, “We will focus the company’s full capabilities on providing total services related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure, including construction, installation, and maintenance services, to contribute to building an eco-friendly mobility ecosystem.”
