Instagram Updates Feature to Add Up to 5 Links in Profile

On the 26th, Instagram announced that it will introduce new features to allow users to express themselves in more diverse ways.

The update will enable users to insert up to five links in their profiles, increased from the previous limit of one. This update addresses a long-standing need among many users, including creators and businesses, allowing them to introduce and express themselves more diversely through text and external link connections.

The 'Add Yours' feature, currently available in Stories and Reels, will be expanded to the Feed as well. 'Add Yours' allows users to create a chain of content that can be shared with their followers or community. For example, by setting a theme like 'April Photo Release' or 'Share Tonight's Menu' and posting photos or videos on the Feed, friends can add their own related Feed posts.

An Instagram representative said, "Instagram is a platform where people can get closer to those they like and their interests," adding, "We will continue to strive to support diverse self-expression and enjoyable communication for our users."
