Discovering New Dessert Brands

Galleria Department Store announced on the 26th that it will showcase bakery dessert brands Beckerin, Banjunseo, and Bess the Scone at its luxury hall Gourmet 494.

Beckerin is an organic European-style bakery based on authentic German local techniques, offering a clean taste without chemical additives. It specializes in German bread such as Brezel, known for its heart shape, and Stange, which means "stick" in German.

Banjunseo is a bakery brand operated by Park Junseo, one of Korea's top 11 master confectioners. It adheres to the principle of making healthy and delicious bread, embodying the skills and philosophy of Master Park Junseo. Signature products include Master Glutinous Rice Cake and Six-Clove Garlic Bread.

The scone specialty brand Bess the Scone popup store will operate until the end of next month. Compared to typical scones, it features a soft and savory taste using a variety of ingredients. Starting in June, the food service company GFFG plans to introduce a new bakery brand, Bakery Blair.

A Galleria representative said, “As interest in desserts among MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) consumers continues to grow steadily, we will continue to strive to discover new dessert brands.”
