원본보기 아이콘Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province and Fullerton City in the United States have signed a sister city agreement.
On the 25th, Seongnam City announced on the 26th that Mayor Shin Sang-jin of Seongnam and Mayor Fred Jung of Fullerton jointly signed the sister city agreement in the city hall situation room.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will promote cooperative projects in areas such as economy, culture, arts, tourism, education, and human exchange.
The main cooperative projects include ▲ mutual city visits by the two mayors ▲ new market entry between companies ▲ establishment of a trade center in Fullerton City.
Mayor Shin Sang-jin said, "I hope that Seongnam City and Fullerton City will cooperate together and move forward vigorously toward a brighter future and growth for both cities."
The Fullerton City delegation will participate in a breakfast lecture titled "Global Era, Strategies for Entering the U.S. Market with Fullerton City (Lecture by Mayor Fred Jung of Fullerton)" held at the Seongnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry until the 3rd of next month, as well as visit Bundang Seoul National University Hospital and watch a performance at Seongnam Arts Center.
