The hometown love donation enthusiasm of Damyang-gun natives is heating up.
On the 25th, Jeonnam Damyang-gun announced that various natives, including lawyer Kim Kyung-eun and trot singer Song Yuna, have donated hometown love funds.
Representative lawyer Kim Kyung-eun has been extending warm hands to various parts of society, such as supporting return donations for war refugees.
Lawyer Kim stated that she will continue to build a relationship with Damyang-gun through this donation.
Trot singer Song Yuna, who is from Damyang, also joined in the love for Damyang.
Song Yuna said, "Since Damyang is my hometown, I have been thinking about ways to contribute to Damyang for some time," and expressed her gratitude, saying, "I am thankful to be able to share the love I received with the local community."
Park Su-jin, the child of ‘Hanjaegol Garden’ located in Daejeon-myeon, Damyang, also participated in the donation.
Park said, "I will not stop at a one-time donation but will participate in the hometown love donation system every year," expressing her intention for continuous donations.
Kim Yoo-jin, a native of Nasan-ri, Subuk-myeon, currently residing in Seoul, also joined.
Kim Yoo-jin said, "Although I have left Damyang, I always watch over it with affection for my hometown," and added, "I hope the donation will contribute to the development of the local community."
County Governor Lee Byung-no said, "The hometown love donation system is centered on the population connected to Damyang," and stated, "We will do our best to find unique attractive elements of Damyang-gun that can increase the connected population."
Meanwhile, Damyang-gun is publicly recruiting ideas for fund projects to be carried out with the hometown love donation funds.
