Korea National Oil Corporation Conducts Training Program for Female Managers

Korea National Oil Corporation conducted the '2023 Preliminary Female Manager Training' for about 60 female mid-level managers on the 25th.

This training aimed to develop female managers and was held over two days, from the 24th to the 25th, targeting female employees at the section chief and deputy section chief levels to strengthen their leadership capabilities.

The program was designed with various educational modules to prepare female mid-level managers to play key roles as future leaders within the organization.

The training included expert sessions such as 'Building Psychological Communication Networks' and 'Conflict Management Communication,' as well as essential etiquette education covering basic manners that managers must observe.

Additionally, there was a dialogue session with the management, providing an opportunity for female employees to convey and discuss their opinions on balancing work and family life, including childbirth and childcare.

Through this training, Korea National Oil Corporation expects female employees to acquire the necessary job competencies and enhance their leadership skills to play a pivotal role as female managers within the organization in the future.

The proportion of female managers within Korea National Oil Corporation is about 13%, and the proportion of female employees is about 23%. To increase the ratio of female managers, the corporation is expanding support for employee competency development and training. Efforts to nurture talented individuals with creativity and diverse experiences, including female managers, will also continue.
