Daejeon City announced on the 25th that Mayor Lee Jang-woo of Daejeon participated in the 'Single-use Items Zero Challenge.' This challenge is a nationwide relay campaign that promises to reduce single-use items in daily life, which started in February with Minister Han Hwa-jin of the Ministry of Environment. Mayor Lee participated in the challenge after being nominated by Mayor Choi Min-ho of Sejong City. He then nominated the next participants: Eom Dong-hwan, Administrator of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration; Oh Yong-jun, President of Hanbat National University; and Kim Do-eup, Member of the National Assembly.
