Jang Ye-chan: "Song Young-gil's Coat and Red Book Reveal His Desire to Become Han Dong-hoon"

Jang Ye-chan, the youngest supreme council member of the People Power Party, pointed out that former Democratic Party leader Song Young-gil's outfit on his return to Korea resembles that of Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon, saying, "Do you think copying the coat or the red book will make him like Minister Han?"

On the 25th, Jang said on BBS's 'Jeon Young-shin's Morning Journal,' "Although I dislike Minister Han, I think the true intentions of Democratic Party politicians who actually want to become like Minister Han were revealed through former leader Song Young-gil's 'imitating Han Dong-hoon'."

Former leader Song, who is mentioned as a key figure in the 'money envelope' scandal, appeared wearing a dark coat and holding a red book in one hand upon returning from Paris, which drew criticism for being almost identical to Minister Han's departure outfit in the past.

Jang said, "Even if you try to imitate deliberately, can you really do it this well? He copied Minister Han Dong-hoon's business trip fashion, and this seems to reflect the current sentiment of the Democratic Party," adding, "But just copying the coat or the red book won't make you like Minister Han. To develop that level of logical ability, you must thoroughly train in speaking and debating to overcome the Democratic Party's inherent limitations of double standards."

The Democratic Party, cornered by the 'money envelope' scandal, is counterattacking with allegations of illegal political funds involving former People Power Party member Kim Hyun-ah. Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung also responded to reporters' questions about the 'money envelope' by asking, "What is happening with Representative Kim Hyun-ah?" Jang criticized, "This is really pathetic," adding, "It has all been exposed that 20 members of their party are involved, but shifting the blame might be possible for commentators on cable news, yet it is a very weak argument for the leader of the main opposition party to make in front of reporters."

Jang recently performed an act of tearing an envelope labeled 'money envelope' during a supreme council meeting. He said, "I proposed to tear the money envelope together with Leader Lee, but I am still waiting as there has been no answer yet," adding, "I hope Democratic Party youth members or Leader Lee will contact me anytime so we can perform the act of tearing the money envelope together at the National Assembly communication office. Leader Lee, please contact me."

Jang claimed that Leader Lee would not be able to discipline those who accepted the money envelopes due to his own second arrest consent motion. He said, "Leader Lee can tell former leader Song, who is not a current member of the National Assembly, to leave or not, but he cannot even refer current members of the National Assembly to the ethics committee despite all the circumstances being revealed through recordings," adding, "This is ultimately because he himself is in a pathetic situation where he must avoid the substantive warrant hearing through the rejection of the arrest consent motion, so he cannot raise such voices."
