Unlicensed Middle School Student Dies After Crashing Motorcycle into Streetlight

A middle school student died after crashing into a streetlight while riding a motorcycle without a license.

According to the police on the 25th, around 3:50 a.m. that day, A, a second-year middle school student, was riding a motorcycle on a road in front of a park in Jangdeok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, when he crashed into a streetlight pole.

He was severely injured from the impact and was taken to the hospital but ultimately passed away.

A did not have a driver's license, and it was confirmed that the motorcycle owner was someone else.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
