Hanwha Advanced Materials Launches Global Composite Materials Market Expansion

Hanwha Advanced Materials, a subsidiary of Hanwha Solutions, is actively targeting the global composite materials market.

On the 25th (local time), Hanwha Advanced Materials announced that it will participate in the international composite materials exhibition 'JEC WORLD 2023' held in Paris, France, showcasing the latest composite material technologies and components emphasizing lightweight, high performance, and eco-friendliness.

This exhibition is the world's largest composite materials and applications exhibition, with over 1,300 companies from 44 countries participating.

Hanwha Advanced Materials plans to unveil innovative materials and components in the fields of electric vehicles, aerospace, and composite materials for oil and gas transportation. In the electric vehicle sector, where weight reduction is prioritized, they will exhibit battery housing components for electric vehicles made with SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) materials.

Additionally, Hanwha Advanced Materials will present UAM (Urban Air Mobility) nacelle components that integrate their composite material technologies. The nacelle plays a crucial role in protecting the UAM electric propulsion system, and Hanwha Advanced Materials has enhanced lightweight and structural safety based on design and analysis capabilities.

Based on continuous fiber composite manufacturing technology, they will also showcase next-generation oil and gas transportation pipes that offer excellent corrosion resistance, flexibility, and lightweight properties.
