KFC Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Hot Wings with Re-release as 'Hot Bong Stick'

KFC announced on the 25th that it has launched an upgraded Hot Wing menu to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Hot Wing.

Hot Wings are chicken wings seasoned with spicy sauce and fried to a crispy texture. For customers who have long awaited the return of Hot Wings, they are now reintroduced under the name ‘Hot Bong Stick’.

The Hot Bong Stick is characterized by using only the drumette part attached to the chicken wing, boasting a crispier and juicier texture than the original Hot Wings. The spicy flavor has also been further enhanced.

Along with the launch of the Hot Bong Stick, KFC plans to sell the ‘Hot Bong Stick Box,’ which includes 5 pieces of Hot Bong Stick, fried chicken skin, and a cola. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Hot Wing launch, the Hot Bong Stick Box will be sold at a 30% discount for 30 days until the 24th of next month.

A KFC representative explained, “Since Hot Wings were first introduced in 1993 and this year marks the 30th anniversary, we decided to release the Hot Bong Stick to celebrate this milestone.”
