SK Broadband B tv ZEM's 'Living Exploration' service is gaining popularity among children who enjoy experiencing ecosystems. In March, the number of 'Living Exploration' uses increased by 30% compared to November of last year, the month it was launched. A SK Broadband official said, "The proportion of 'animal enthusiast' customers who access the service daily has increased."
'Living Exploration' is an interactive kids' content that allows users to enjoy 3D natural science learning with simple remote control operations. Users can create a character and roam virtual spaces (dinosaur, ocean, desert, insects, jungle) to meet over 100 types of animals. When approaching a desired animal and pressing a button, various information such as the animal's appearance, size, habitat, and diet is displayed. The content of the popular elementary learning comic series 'Why?', which has sold 86 million copies cumulatively, can be vividly experienced in 3D.
Children can naturally learn about animals through activities such as letter play and quizzes. For example, the dinosaur theme offers experiences like 'Observation,' which provides information on predators and habitats; 'Size Comparison,' which compares the child's height and weight; and 'Letter Play,' which helps learn names by guessing them. All operations can be performed using only the B tv remote control, and B tv customers can use the service for free from the 'B tv ZEM' menu.
Lee Kang-hee, head of segment marketing at SK Broadband, said, "The biggest feature of the 'Living Exploration' service is that it allows rich natural exploration without having to visit zoos or aquariums directly," adding, "We will continue to expand diverse content that B tv customers can enjoy realistically."
