The Gyeongnam Election Commission will operate a children's election classroom at 15 kindergartens in the Changwon area from the 24th until June 23.
According to the provincial election commission, in accordance with the "Memorandum of Understanding for the Activation of Suffrage Education" signed with the Gyeongnam Office of Education in July 2020, educational activities are being implemented to promote the proper exercise of rights and free participation in elections by future voters in the province.

원본보기 아이콘According to the provincial election commission, this children's election classroom will be conducted for about 540 kindergarten students using the American fantasy novel "The Wizard of Oz."
They will examine the pledges of each candidate character, participate in actual voting and vote counting practice, and take voting certification photos.
A representative of the provincial election commission said, "The children's election classroom is designed to be easily understood at the kindergarten students' level," adding, "We will expand the base of democratic citizenship education for future voters in Gyeongnam and provide opportunities to naturally learn the importance of elections through voting and vote counting experiences."
