KakaoTalk Distributes 'KakaoTalk Guide' Containing New Features and Usage Instructions

Kakao has launched a website called ‘KakaoTalk Guide’ that introduces new features of KakaoTalk and how to use the app.

On the 24th, Kakao announced that it opened KakaoTalk Guide to directly listen to users’ diverse voices and reflect them in the KakaoTalk service, enabling everyone to use KakaoTalk more closely and safely.

Users can check out KakaoTalk’s new features on KakaoTalk Guide. KakaoTalk regularly improves and updates various features, and plans to use KakaoTalk Guide to provide faster and more detailed information about the features introduced through updates.

KakaoTalk Guide includes an introduction to the new features of KakaoTalk (v10.1.5) updated in early April. It also contains content explaining light communication features that allow users to share feelings without speaking, such as ‘Sympathy Stickers’ and ‘Speech Bubble Sympathy Reactions,’ under the theme of ‘How to use KakaoTalk these days to convey feelings without speaking.’

Through KakaoTalk Guide, methods for using numerous KakaoTalk features according to various targets, relationships, and purposes will also be introduced. For users who want to change their profiles to match the changing seasons, various ways to decorate profiles, such as how to write profile text and apply profile emoticon stickers, will be introduced.

Users can check experimental features before official release as well as regular features through KakaoTalk Guide, evaluate whether the features are satisfactory, and provide feedback to the KakaoTalk team. Kakao plans to carry out improvements based on these user opinions.

KakaoTalk Guide can be accessed via the Kakao Now banner located at the bottom of the KakaoTalk ‘More’ tab and through Daum search.

A Kakao representative said, “We opened KakaoTalk Guide so that users can find useful ways to use KakaoTalk that they were curious about or unaware of,” and added, “Through KakaoTalk Guide, we will not only introduce features but also listen to users’ opinions and reflect them to create a better KakaoTalk.”
