Le Meridien Myeongdong announced on the 24th that it has launched two types of cakes to celebrate Family Month.
The "Carnation Cake" is a limited edition cake expressing love and gratitude to parents. It features mascarpone cheese whipped cream and seasonal fruits between layers of castella, and is decorated with pearl-shaped chocolates on top. The sales period is from May 1 to May 31.
The "Choco Bear Gelato Cake" is a two-tier gelato cake introduced to commemorate Children's Day. It is decorated with bear-shaped chocolate ice cream and rainbow sprinkles, with vanilla ice cream containing nuts on the first tier and sweet choco balls on the second tier. Inside the round balloon-shaped strawberry and chocolate ice cream decorations on top, popping candy is added to provide a fun popping sensation in the mouth. The sales period is from May 1 to July 31.
Both cakes can be purchased at a 20% discount from the regular price from May 1 to May 7.
