Hansujeong, Excellence in Public Data Provision and Operation Practices

The Korea National Arboretum and Garden Management Agency (hereinafter referred to as KNA) received an 'Excellent' rating in the public data provision operation performance evaluation.

On the 24th, KNA announced that it was selected as an excellent institution in the '2022 Public Data Provision Operation Performance Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The evaluation was conducted on 570 institutions, including 45 central administrative agencies, 243 local governments, and 282 public institutions, scoring across 5 areas and 16 indicators.

As a result, KNA was selected as an excellent institution by receiving improved scores compared to the previous year in multiple areas.

In particular, KNA was highly evaluated for carrying out the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's national key data opening support project and public data enterprise matching support project in the public data sector, actively discovering new public data and improving data quality.

Ryu Kwang-soo, Director of KNA, said, “KNA will actively open the data it holds to contribute to leading the domestic public data ecosystem. Through this, in line with the government's digital platform policy, KNA aims to become a central hub for public data utilization.”
