Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) will supply 46 units of 'Existing Housing Purchase Rental Housing' in 12 cities and counties to stabilize housing for vulnerable groups in the province.
Existing Housing Purchase Rental Housing refers to housing such as multi-family, multi-household, and officetels that are purchased and renovated, then supplied at rental rates lower than market prices. The 46 units being recruited this time are located in 12 cities and counties including Gwangju, Namyangju, and Dongducheon in the province.
GH has especially relaxed the eligibility criteria this year to include members of non-homeowning households whose monthly income is 150% or less of the previous year's average monthly income of urban worker households (initially 70% or less).
The contract period is initially 2 years, and residents can live for up to 20 years if renewal conditions are met. Rent is set at about 30% of the surrounding market price, with rental deposits and monthly rent determined accordingly.
Applications for move-in will be accepted from the 15th to the 18th of next month via registered mail.
