Im Sung-jae and Keith Mitchell (USA) were satisfied with a ‘Top 10’ finish.

Im Sung-jae and Mitchell finished 6th (25-under 263) after failing to reduce their score on the final day of the PGA Tour’s two-man team event, the Zurich Classic (total prize money $8.6 million), held on the 23rd (local time) at Louisiana TPC (par 72, 7,425 yards) in Avondale, Louisiana, USA, playing in a foursomes format (two players alternating shots with one ball).

Starting the day in 2nd place, one stroke behind, Im and Mitchell exchanged three birdies for three bogeys. They gained momentum with birdies on holes 1 and 8 but lost all the strokes they had gained with bogeys on holes 10 and 12. Although a birdie on hole 13 seemed to change the momentum, a second shot missing the green on hole 15 (both par 4s) cost them another stroke.

Davis Riley and Nick Hardy (both USA) surged with a 7-under round to claim a come-from-behind victory (30-under 258). Both players experienced the joy of their first career win. The winner’s prize money was $1,242,700 each (approximately 1.65 billion KRW). Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor (both Canada) finished 2nd (28-under 260), while Wyndham Clark and Bo Hoag (both USA) took 3rd place (27-under 261). Strong favorites Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele (both USA) shot 6 under but remained tied for 4th (26-under 262).

For Korea, Kim Si-woo and Kim Joo-hyung posted 4 under to climb to a tie for 7th place (23-under 265). An Byeong-hun and Kim Seong-hyun reduced their score by one stroke to finish tied for 13th (20-under 268). No Seung-yeol paired with Michael Kim (USA) finished tied for 19th (19-under 269).
