Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam, reenacted the 'Uiryeong Large Rope Tugging' event to celebrate the 48th Uiryeong Honguijanggun Festival.


The 'Uiryeong Large Rope Tugging,' registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and recognized by the Guinness World Records as the 'world's largest rope,' involved over 5,000 residents.


The 'large rope' measured 125 meters in length and 5 meters in circumference. On the 21st, the residents united to pull the rope they had made themselves, praying for abundance and harmony.
