Lotte Department Store announced on the 24th that it will hold the 'Pokemon Spring Festa 2023' at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, from the 28th of this month to the 8th of next month, for families preparing outings during the mask-free Family Month for the first time in four years.
This is the first large-scale Pokemon festival introduced in Korea, prepared under the concept of 'All Pokemon experiences in one place.' Visitors can enjoy the TV animation gallery, the 'Parade with Pikachu,' a pop-up store, and various experiential contents all in one place, set up on a lawn plaza of about 3,306㎡ (approximately 1,000 pyeong).
At the outdoor World Park, the largest domestic 'Animation Concept Gallery' of Pokemon, which has been aired for the past 25 years, will be showcased. From May 5th to 7th, the weekend, the 'Parade with Pikachu' will welcome young customers, enhancing the festive atmosphere. This parade will operate a 'Kids Train' that children can actually ride, adding to the fun of the festival. The Kids Train boarding opportunity is offered only to customers who pre-apply through the Lotte Department Store application (app).
At the Lotte World Mall 'Atrium,' a 'Pokemon Pop-up Store' with an amusement park concept has been prepared to celebrate Children's Day. This pop-up store offers over 300 popular Pokemon products, including 'Pokemon Fit Plush Dolls,' and various events such as limited gifts for customers on a first-come, first-served basis.
On the 5th floor Iconic Bridge of Lotte World Mall, the 'Pokemon Card Gallery' using the 'Pokemon Card Game,' which excites Pokemon fans worldwide, will be introduced for the first time in Korea. This exhibition will provide new memories for Pokemon fans through displays using actual cards. Experience zones are set up throughout the World Mall, including the Nintendo Switch game 'Pokemon Scarlet and Violet' experience event, the 'First Learning Classroom' to learn the Pokemon Card Game, and the popular arcade game 'Pokemon Ga-Ol?.'
A special event for the popular mobile game 'Pokemon Go' will also be held at Lotte Department Store Jamsil Branch and Lotte World Mall World Park. Detailed information will be released weekly through the Lotte Department Store app and Pokemon Korea's official social media channels (SNS).
