Golf memberships continued a firm upward trend due to a shortage of listings.
According to the Donga Membership Trading Center on the 22nd, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide was 235.32 million KRW, up 0.30% from the previous week. By price range, the ultra-high price segment rose 0.24%, the high price segment 0.10%, and the mid-price segment 0.182%. The low price segment showed no change. The Donga Membership Trading Center stated, "The appearance of listings this spring season is more limited than expected. The central region showed a slight upward trend without any declining items," adding, "With an increase in corporate purchase orders, the firm upward trend is expected to continue for the time being."
The average price in the central region rose 0.23% from the previous week to 266.18 million KRW. The 88 course saw additional purchase inquiries following last week, rising 0.77%. Suwon also continued its strong trend, increasing 1.97% due to active corporate purchase orders. Vision Hills remains in a state of no listings, rising 0.56% without any transactions. East Valley also rose 1.77%, unable to narrow the gap between selling and buying offers. Hwasan increased 1.03%, and Newspringville rose 2.70%.
There are also ongoing purchase inquiries for weekday memberships. Jisan weekday memberships are strong. Asiana weekday and Eunhwa Sam weekday memberships showed slight upward trends. Team leader Park Cheon-ju forecasted, "The central region membership market will maintain a firm upward trend amid differentiated movements by item."
The southern region is also on the rise. The average price increased 0.61% from the previous week to 155.44 million KRW. Yongwon and Gyeongju Shilla have steady purchase orders, but the battle of wits between sellers and buyers is intense. They rose 1.15% and 0.68%, respectively. Dongnae Benest saw accumulated purchase orders and jumped 3.03%. Dongbusan rose 3.77% without any transactions. Asiad increased 1.04%, and A-One rose 6.06%. Team leader Lee Yoon-hee said, "The southern region membership market overall shows a shortage of listings. It is expected to continue the firm upward trend."
