The National Pukyong National University Career Center is hosting an event titled "Employment Success Know-How from Current Employees," where Pukyong University students and local youth can listen to employment special lectures by current professionals.
The center will hold 12 sessions over the course of a month, starting with the first session on May 2, at Dongwon Jangbogo Hall and the Academic Information Center. Participants will be recruited through prior registration, targeting current Pukyong University students, unemployed graduates, and local youth.
For this special lecture series, 12 current employees who graduated from Pukyong University and are working at large corporations or public enterprises will serve as instructors as part of the "Pukyong Career Mentor Group."
They will provide information on the necessary competencies for various job roles and the realistic work environments in industries such as finance, electronics, electrical engineering, automotive, pharmaceuticals, environment, and tourism, as well as share their personal employment success stories with participants.
The center has also arranged a separate Q&A session to allow for personalized counseling alongside the lectures by current employees.
Participation in this special lecture series can be registered through WhaleB, Pukyong University's non-curricular program application site, until May 24.
Following last year, Pukyong University has once again been selected as a priority negotiation university for the University Career Plus Center this year, carrying out various projects such as building employment and startup support infrastructure and providing employment and startup support services.
