Nonghyup Changwon Branch Launches Campaign for Collecting Agricultural Waste

Agricultural Support Launch Ceremony Held

The Nonghyup Changwon City Branch held a farming support launch ceremony on the 19th in the Daesan-myeon area of Uichang-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.

This launch ceremony was organized to assist farmers who are facing difficulties in securing labor due to the decline and aging of the rural population during the farming season.

About 30 people participated in the event, including executives and employees of the Nonghyup Changwon City Branch and Daesan Nonghyup, as well as members of the Changwon City Federation of Farm Housewives Associations.

They helped with labor shortages at chili pepper farms and worked together to collect agricultural waste to maintain a clean and beautiful rural environment.

Branch Manager Kim Gap-moon said, “The Nonghyup Changwon City Branch will continuously provide labor support according to the farming schedule and strive to supply as much labor as possible through the Rural Labor Brokerage Center.”
