Gyeongnam National University was recently selected as an operating institution for the ‘2023 Small Business Digital Specialized University’ program, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service.
With this selection, Gyeongnam National University will receive a project fund of 160 million KRW to provide diverse specialized education necessary for strengthening digital capabilities and entering the online market to local small business owners based in Gyeongnam from April to December.
The education program will be conducted free of charge over two semesters within one year, with 8 weeks of online practice-oriented classes held every Friday. The curriculum includes ▲theoretical education such as big data for small business owners ▲marketing using Chat GPT ▲practical training on opening smart stores and live commerce.
Additionally, various consultations necessary for small business owners to develop online sales channels will be provided, including 1:1 customized mentoring between students and experts. Each semester, support will be offered for online marketing practice expenses, product photography and detailed page production, sharing of excellent cases through performance sharing meetings, and awards for outstanding companies.
The application period for the education program is from April 24 to May 4, recruiting a total of 60 participants. Applications can be submitted online (via Naver Form), by phone, or in person.
