Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Selected as an 'Excellent Institution' in Public Data Provision Evaluation

Gyeonggi Tourism Organization was selected as an excellent institution, the highest grade, in the '2022 Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation is conducted annually to assess efforts to actively open public data needed by citizens and businesses, and to facilitate convenient use of data.

This evaluation was conducted on 570 institutions, including 45 central administrative agencies, 243 local governments, and 282 public institutions.

Gyeonggi Tourism Organization was recognized for outstanding performance in expanding public data into ESG management in this evaluation.

According to this evaluation, the organization will receive a government citation and special grant from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety as an excellent institution.

An official from the organization stated, "We were selected as an excellent institution this year after being rated average last year," and added, "We will continue to open public data and contribute to the development of the national economy through the utilization of public data."
