Venture capital (VC) WiseLetter Investment is making a fresh start as GTO Investment.
According to the investment banking (IB) industry on the 20th, WiseLetter Investment recently completed the sale of its management rights, changing its largest shareholder to GTO C&D. Accordingly, the company name was changed to GTO Investment. The company name has changed three times in total: from Valuable Investment → WiseLetter Investment → GTO Investment.
According to the corporate registry, in addition to the existing CEO Haemin Song, Yongseong Jeon was appointed as an inside director. Inchjeong Lee, CEO of GTO C&D, serves as auditor. The capital stock amounts to 2,099.5 million KRW.
GTO C&D, which acquired WiseLetter Investment, operates development projects together with GTO. They are engaged in various projects in the construction sector. They oversee comprehensive tasks from initial land acquisition for development projects, product planning, financing, design, construction, marketing, sales, move-in, settlement, to after-sales management.
In the construction works sector, there is Samco Construction. According to the recent audit report of Samco Construction, the largest shareholder is GTO C&D, holding 31.3% of shares. GTO holds 25.6%. While mainly managing companies related to real estate, the law firm Cheongshin is also under the same roof. Attention is focused on what synergy effects GTO Investment, with its new nameplate, will create with its parent company.
