The three major indices of the U.S. New York Stock Exchange closed mixed and near flat on the 19th (local time) as investors monitored corporate earnings.
On that day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.23% from the previous session to close the trading. The large-cap focused S&P 500 index slipped 0.01%. In contrast, the tech-heavy Nasdaq index closed up 0.03%.
