The inland areas of Gyeongsang are expected to rise to around 30 degrees Celsius. As Korea is positioned on the edge of a high-pressure system over the East Sea, warm southwesterly winds will flow in, raising temperatures. However, the metropolitan area, where cloudy weather is expected, will have daytime temperatures remaining around the average level.
Across the country, the lowest temperatures on the morning of the 20th are expected to be between 13 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the highest daytime temperatures between 16 and 30 degrees Celsius.
The expected lowest and highest temperatures in major cities are Seoul 15°C and 19°C, Incheon 13°C and 16°C, Daejeon 16°C and 25°C, Gwangju 16°C and 27°C, Daegu 16°C and 30°C, Ulsan 15°C and 27°C, and Busan 16°C and 23°C.
