On the 19th, Seoul Hyehwa Police Station announced that Mr. A was handed over to the prosecution on charges of violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Crimes (theft).

According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of secretly entering more than 20 restaurants and cafes that had ended night operations in eight areas including Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and Jeonju from February 13 to March 26, stealing cash and other items worth approximately 6.66 million won. During the investigation, the police deployed three violent crime teams and analyzed over 800 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras.
