Professor Jeong Won-kyo of Pukyong National University, Lecture on 'Distinguished Career Decisions' at the Korean Academy of Science and Technology

Professor Jeong Won-gyo of Pukyong National University delivered the "18th Scholar Career Decisions Lecture" on the 14th at Seong Young-cheol Hall on the first floor of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology building.

At this event hosted by the Korean Academy of Science and Technology, Professor Jeong gave a lecture titled "The Origin of Life, Mining Treasures from the Sea."

The Scholar Career Decisions Lecture is a program designed to widely share the significant decisions and life experiences made by top scientists on their path to research achievements, and to assist aspiring scientists and engineers.

Professor Jeong, who researches marine natural product chemistry, is a leading researcher in the convergence fields related to marine biology, bio, and medicine, including the development of pharmaceuticals, bioactive materials, and advanced medical new materials using marine organisms. He was elected as a full member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology this year.
