According to the police on the 19th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit plans to summon Jeon again around 10 a.m. the next day to investigate the specific number of times and types of drugs used.
Earlier, the police were notified by the National Forensic Service (NFS) that Jeon tested positive in a detailed drug analysis. The police arrested Jeon at Incheon International Airport on the 28th of last month after he arrived from the United States, collected hair samples, and requested a detailed analysis from the NFS. A preliminary test conducted on the day of the arrest had returned a negative result.
Jeon, who was released the day after his arrest, told reporters that he admitted to using marijuana and dimethyltryptamine (DMT) during the police investigation. Considering Jeon's admission of drug use, the police decided to conduct the investigation without detention. However, a travel ban was imposed on him on the 31st of last month to prevent him from leaving the country until the investigation is completed.
