In particular, to spread a culture of leading by example starting from managers, education on integrity and safety to be observed at project sites was conducted simultaneously to increase practical implementation.
The Jeonnam Headquarters has been promoting four major strategies to enhance integrity: unkindness = corruption, mature customer service, mutual respect and consideration, and meticulous conflict management.
Additionally, safety management was strengthened through on-site pinpoint safety management by categorizing project areas into special management zones, focused zones, and regular zones according to the degree of fairness complexity and project scale.
In the subsequent discussion session, discussions continued on the progress status and current issues of each branch regarding production infrastructure, regional development, and repair and maintenance of hydraulic facilities projects.
An official from Jeollanam-do stated, “Everyone must join forces so that all agricultural and construction sites within Jeonnam can overcome the crisis of climate change and strengthen the competitiveness of Jeonnam agriculture.”
Head Jo Young-ho said, “I ask that managers lead by example to establish a culture of integrity and safety,” adding, “As abnormal weather phenomena due to climate change become more frequent, let us do our best for safe farming through meticulous and thorough preparations such as pre-inspections for disaster prevention against localized heavy rains during the rainy season.”
