Yangsan City Council conducted integrity training on the 18th at the Small Theater of Yangsan Culture and Arts Center.
This training was organized by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, the public institution responsible for evaluating integrity, and was conducted for city council members and all staff.
The training began with watching a customized integrity video for local councils, followed by an integrity pledge ceremony and a special lecture on integrity.

원본보기 아이콘At the pledge ceremony, all city council members and the Secretariat staff signed the pledge. Afterwards, Chairman Lee Jong-hee read the integrity pledge on behalf of everyone, with all members and staff united in their commitment to practicing integrity.
Additionally, Lee Chang-hak, a specialist lecturer on integrity, gave a special lecture titled "The Path of Local Council Members Who Earn Respect and Trust," covering explanations of relevant laws such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, and the Code of Conduct for Local Council Members, along with related cases and a Q&A session.
Chairman Lee Jong-hee stated, “Integrity is the most fundamental virtue that public officials must uphold,” and added, “Starting with today’s training, we will promote continuous anti-corruption prevention activities, take the lead in eradicating corruption, and become a council trusted by citizens through clean legislative activities.”
