The 50th Korea Middle and High School Taekwondo Federation President's National Taekwondo Competition and the 19th Korea Middle and High School Taekwondo Federation President's National Poomsae Competition, hosted by the Korea Middle and High School Taekwondo Federation and organized by the Gurye-gun Sports Council, will be held for 11 days from April 22 to May 2 at the indoor gymnasium in Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do.
The national Poomsae competition will take place over two days from April 22 to 23. A total of 635 middle and high school athletes will participate, competing in individual, doubles, and team events.
Following that, from April 24 to May 2, a sparring competition by weight class for men and women will be held, with 1,923 middle and high school athletes participating.
It is expected to be a heated stage of competition for the next generation of athletes dreaming of becoming the second Lee Dae-hoon.
Kim Sun-ho, the county governor, said, "We will do our best to support the athletes visiting our county so that they can achieve good results."
