The 18th Yeongyang Wild Vegetable Festival will be held for four days from May 11 to May 14 at Yeongyang County Office, Yeongyang Traditional Market, and the Ilwol Mountain area.

Celebrating its 18th year, the Yeongyang Wild Vegetable Festival is Yeongyang County's representative festival where visitors can fully enjoy the taste and atmosphere of clean Yeongyang wild vegetables. Over the years, it has brought healthy joy to countless tourists and has grown into a nationally recognized festival.

This year as well, the festival grounds will be opened around Yeongyang County Office and Yeongyang Traditional Market, showcasing Yeongyang’s pride, wild vegetables, along with various sights and activities.

The festival offers new and rich entertainment spaces such as a wild vegetable market where you can purchase healthy wild vegetables at affordable prices, a wild vegetable-themed street that will catch the eyes of onlookers, a wild vegetable photo zone perfect for capturing green-themed life shots, and a mountain village food street filled with delicious foods, the highlight of the festival.

Not only can visitors simply tour the festival grounds, but they can also enjoy diverse programs that allow them to feel, experience, and create memories of clean Yeongyang up close. These include wild vegetable harvesting experiences, a pet culture festival, a non-face-to-face marathon, light-out trekking, the Yeongyang Wild Vegetable National Song Festival, the Yeongyang dialect contest, and the Starry Night Concert, all designed to captivate tourists’ hearts.

County Governor O Do-chang stated, “We are preparing a fulfilling Wild Vegetable Festival this May so that both residents and tourists can enjoy themselves enthusiastically in Yeongyang. I hope everyone visits the festival grounds and enjoys the festival.”
