On the afternoon of the 17th, 19 people from Duy T?n University, including Chairman Le Cong Co, President Le Nguyen Bao and the Vice President, deans of major faculties, professors, and key administrative officers in personnel and finance, visited Yeungnam University.
Meeting with Yeungnam University President Choi Oe-chul, Chairman Le Cong Co said, "Many large corporations such as Samsung and LG have entered the Vietnamese market, and cooperation between the two countries is becoming increasingly close not only economically but also in various social sectors. This is my fourth visit to Korea, but my first time visiting Yeungnam University. I came to Yeungnam University to promote educational exchanges and cooperation for nurturing talent in both countries. I hope this visit will be the starting point for active exchanges between our two universities."
President Choi Oe-chul also actively engaged in exchanges with Duy T?n University, including the establishment of the local Saemaul Economic Development Department. Yeungnam University President Choi Oe-chul said, "With over 9,000 Korean companies operating in Vietnam, exchanges are active. The nurturing of talent through this academic exchange will lay the foundation for comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in society, culture, and economy. Yeungnam University will actively support not only the establishment of the Saemaul Economic Development Department at Duy T?n University but also vigorous exchanges in various fields for talent development between the two universities."
A Yeungnam University official stated, "Currently, Saemaul Studies Departments have been established at Andres University in the Philippines and Western University in Cambodia.
