On the afternoon of the 19th, a large-scale rally organized by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) will be held in downtown Seoul, causing expected traffic congestion in areas such as Jongno, City Hall, and Yongsan.
The KCTU plans to hold a "Resolution Rally Condemning the Yoon Seok-yeol Administration" from 1 PM at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) to Seoul City Hall, followed by a march.
The KCTU Metal Workers' Union will also gather from 2 PM near the Yongsan Presidential Office and Anguk Station area to hold the "Metal Workers' Union 10,000 Cadres' All-Out Struggle Rally" and march to the area around Sungnyemun.
The Cargo Solidarity of the Public Transport Union under the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions held a rally on the 18th in front of the Hite Jinro headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, demanding the withdrawal of mass layoffs and damage compensation lawsuits by Hite Jinro.
