The training will begin on the 19th at a public housing construction site in Dongtan, Hwaseong, and will be held 10 times throughout the year at five sites where more than 50 foreign workers are employed.
The instructors, composed of construction safety experts and interpreters fluent in Chinese, Vietnamese, and other languages, will visit construction sites to provide safety work guidelines tailored to the characteristics of each type of work, such as structural work and finishing work.
This training was planned to protect foreign workers who are vulnerable to accident risks at industrial sites due to communication difficulties and to prevent construction site accidents by raising safety awareness.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, emphasized, "As the number of foreign workers at construction sites increases, we will strive to prevent accidents involving foreign workers through continuous safety training and create a work environment where workers can work safely."
In order to achieve the goal of Zero Serious Accidents in 2023, GH operates various "field-centered" safety education programs, including interpretation safety training for foreign workers and customized safety competency enhancement training for each participant in construction projects.
