Gwangju Bank announced on the 19th that starting from the 20th, it will waive all fees for personal customers who make transfers to other banks or set up automatic transfers through non-face-to-face channels such as Gwangju Bank Smart Banking.
Previously, fees were set at 500 won for non-face-to-face transfers to other banks and 300 won for automatic transfers to other banks, and only customers who met certain fee exemption criteria, such as the number of transactions, were exempt from fees.
Byung-il Ko, President of Gwangju Bank, stated, "In these difficult times of economic slowdown and high inflation, we have decided to waive all non-face-to-face transfer fees to alleviate the financial burden on our customers," and pledged to continuously expand win-win management with the local community.
