Porsche unveiled the third-generation Cayenne facelift model on the 19th. The company explained that the interior, including the display, has been completely redesigned.

First, the operating method introduced in the electric Taycan was applied. Functions frequently used by the driver are placed around the steering wheel, and the driver assistance system functions are integrated into the left lever behind it. This includes the Active Speed Limiter, Lane Change Assist, Cornering Assist, and Porsche InnoDrive, which is part of the Adaptive Cruise Control. The automatic transmission selector lever is located on the dashboard.

A 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster with a variable display option was also applied. It is said to have optimal connectivity with applications such as Spotify and Apple Music. The head-up display is an optional feature. A new air purification system is installed, which uses navigation data to detect approaching tunnel entrances and automatically activates the air recirculation function.

A 10.9-inch display is optionally available for the front passenger seat as well. It provides everything from performance data to video content streaming functions. A special film is attached to prevent this display from being visible from the driver's seat.

On the exterior, matrix LED headlights are standard equipment. The HD specification is optional.

The suspension comes standard with steel spring suspension. Ride comfort at low speeds, handling during dynamic cornering, and roll and pitch control have been improved. Adaptive air suspension is also applied. This differentiates the Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus driving modes.

The base Cayenne model is equipped with a 3-liter V6 turbo engine producing a maximum output of 353 horsepower. The Cayenne S is equipped with a 4-liter V8 biturbo engine instead of the V6 engine. The E-Hybrid model is equipped with a 6-cylinder engine.

The domestic release schedule is planned for the second half of the year, and the release models and pricing information have not been decided. The price of the Cayenne in Germany starts at 89,097 euros (approximately 130 million KRW).

Michael Schetzle, Vice President of the Cayenne product line, emphasized, “The new Cayenne is one of the most extensive product upgrades in Porsche brand history.”
