Nexen Tire Wins One of the "World's Top 3 Design Awards"

Nexen Tire announced on the 19th that its Rodian HTX 2 won the main prize in the product design category at the German '2023 iF Design Award.'

This award ceremony, which began in 1953, is the most prestigious award in the field of design and is regarded as one of the world's top three design awards alongside Germany's 'Red Dot Design Award' and the United States' 'IDEA.'

This tire is an HT (Highway Terrain) tire for sports utility vehicles (SUV)/LT with enhanced snow traction performance and mileage performance compared to competing products. Through 3D sipes (fine grooves on the tire surface) technology that increases traction, it provides improved tread grip and handling performance even in snowy conditions.

The sidewall features designs with different themes on the inside and outside, allowing consumers the option to choose the sidewall design that suits their personal preference.

Nexen Tire stated, “We plan to further enhance Nexen Tire’s brand value through differentiated designs in the future.”
