Lotte Wellfood plans to introduce Pepero made with Haenam green tea. Haenam is a sacred place for tea ceremony, producing high-quality handmade green tea in an optimal natural environment and carrying on the tradition of Korean traditional tea. To embody the purpose of the 'Our Agricultural Products Win-Win Project,' Lotte Wellfood chose Haenam green tea instead of the more widely known Jeju green tea and Boseong green tea. The Pepero 'Haenam Green Tea' will be differentiated from existing Pepero products and is scheduled to be launched next month.
A Lotte Wellfood official stated, “We will continue to develop new products every year using domestic agricultural products for mutual growth,” and added, “We will consistently strive to provide Pepero in more diverse flavors to enhance consumer satisfaction.”
