Shinsegae Duty Free Opens Exclusive Eco-Friendly Brand Just Craft

Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 19th that it will exclusively open the eco-friendly fashion brand 'Just Craft' on its online mall 20 days ahead of Earth Day (April 22).

Just Craft is a domestic eco-friendly lifestyle brand whose motto is to seek ways to reduce environmental pollution and coexist with nature from the beginning to the end of its products. Just Craft will first launch on Shinsegae Duty Free's online mall, selling bags, shoes, clothing, accessories, and lifestyle items. An offline store is scheduled to open at the Busan branch next month.

Shinsegae Duty Free's online mall operates various eco-friendly brands such as Joseph & Stacey, Pleats Mama, Erijeuron, and La Vierge. These brands have recently received positive responses, with monthly sales doubling compared to their launch periods.

Shinsegae Duty Free plans to continuously expand its lineup of eco-friendly brands following Just Craft. According to market research firm Research and Markets, the global eco-friendly and sustainable fashion market size is expected to grow from approximately 8 trillion KRW in 2019 to 10 trillion KRW this year.

Meanwhile, Shinsegae Duty Free has engaged in eco-friendly activities such as the 'Keep It Green' upcycling campaign and sponsoring events commemorating World Migratory Bird Day. They have introduced an eco-friendly system throughout the entire distribution process?from logistics to shopping and product delivery?significantly reducing the use of vinyl air caps (commonly known as 'bokk-bokki').
