The three major indices of the U.S. New York Stock Exchange closed mixed and near flat on the 18th (local time) as investors monitored corporate earnings reports.
On that day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.03% compared to the previous session. The large-cap-focused S&P 500 index rose 0.08%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq index closed down 0.04%.
