Changwon City Buses Ultimately Halt... Labor and Management Remain at an Impasse

On the 19th, 689 buses belonging to the Changwon City Bus Union in Gyeongnam finally stopped operating from the first bus at 5 a.m.

The Changwon City Bus Union Council and the management continued overnight negotiations from 3 p.m. on the 18th until past midnight but failed to narrow their differences, resulting in a breakdown of talks.

Changwon City plans to deploy 142 charter buses prepared for the total strike, 10 city hall buses, and 800 corporate and private taxis on bus routes to minimize inconvenience to citizens.
