Saewool Nuclear Power Plant to Provide 800 Million Won Support to Neighboring Elementary, Middle, and High Schools

Saewool Nuclear Power Plant will provide over 800 million won in development project funds to eight neighboring schools.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head: Jo Seok-jin) signed an agreement on the "Local School Academic Improvement Program Project" and delivered the support funds on the 18th at Seongdong Elementary School in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun.

On this day, Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters donated about 42 million won to Seongdong Elementary School. Through this agreement, the students of Seongdong Elementary School will be supported with experiential programs and activities to nurture their dreams, increasing opportunities for cultural and artistic experiences.

Seoul Nuclear Power Plant is delivering nurturing project funds to Seongdong Elementary School on the 18th.

Saewool Nuclear Power will support over 800 million won this year for academic improvement programs such as after-school programs, software and coding education, as well as educational environment improvements and educational welfare enhancement for eight local elementary, middle, and high schools including Seongdong Elementary School.

Jeon Gwang-jo, principal of Seongdong Elementary School, expressed gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the support from Saewool Headquarters, students can have more diverse experiences."

Kim Byung-seop, Director of External Cooperation, said, "We are continuously striving to improve local educational welfare," and added, "We will generously support talent development for mutual growth with the community."
